For TOBB ETÜ Faculty of Medicine Hospital, the primary key to success is “people.” In the success we have achieved, undoubtedly, the contribution of hundreds of our employees is significant. In line with the services we provide in the healthcare sector, we are establishing a Human Resources structure that is best in class, in line with our vision, in work areas that align with our principles and without compromising quality.
Relevant departments may have their own established special visitation policies; adherence to these policies is mandatory. Patient visits are limited to two people at a time, and this is of great importance for the health of the patient. Patient visits take place within the time range determined by our hospital. Bringing food and drinks from outside for the patient is strictly prohibited. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to visit patients. For the health of the patient, it is important to come to the visit with clean clothes. Smoking is prohibited within healthcare facilities. It is recommended not to bring gifts other than books, magazines, newspapers, and hygienic care products (cologne, paper tissues, paper towels, paper wipes), as well as toys that are safe for children, when visiting a patient. Bringing live flowers into the room is not allowed. Our visiting hours are set between 09:00 and 23:00 for the comfort and safety of our patients.
The need for a companion for the patient is determined by the patient’s doctor. The number of companions is limited to one person. The companion should not be present with the patient during medical visits and care. A companion card is provided by the ward’s responsible nurse for the companion. The companion assists in the patient’s care to the extent permitted. The companion must adhere to all rules set by the hospital. In some clinics, the companion practice is not available.
