World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated globally from October 1st to 7th. The World Health Organization recommends breastfeeding infants exclusively with breast milk for the first six months and continuing breastfeeding alongside complementary foods up to and beyond 2 years of age. The goal of World Breastfeeding Week, observed worldwide from October 1st to 7th, is to raise awareness among communities and mothers to ensure proper breastfeeding for the baby.
